I am inspired by many things. As I mention on my "About Me" page, my initial creative inspiration came from seeing a cute mini post-it notebook that my friend made. From that initial inspiration I have explored various areas of paper crafting. I've list couple of them below.
What inspires you?
I love going to stationery stores browsing through the many papers available. One of my favorite stores to visit is the Paper-Source. They have such a large selection of papers, embellishments and boxes.
Another source of inspiration for me is Tim Holtz. I love his creations. His Distressed Inks are wonderful to work with. They are very good for stamping and heat embossing. I love ‘em!!! And don’t get me started on the crackle paint and vintage embellishments and papers. Awesome!
I’m also inspired by some of the most amazing crafters on YouTube. (Gotta love YouTube!) When I first started exploring YouTube, from a crafting perspective, I had no idea how many crafters posted their tips and tutorials. What a discovery. I have learned lots of great techniques by watching the tutorials.
As I mentioned on my "Home" page, I created this blog to share, so click the "Tutorials" tab above to see some of my videos. ...And yes, for those techniques that I learned on YouTube, I give credit to crafter that posted the video tutorial.
Remember, creativity never stops, so do something creative every day!
